Take Flight with POA

This summer, take flight with POA—an unforgettable hands-on experience designed to introduce campers to the world of aviation through engaging lessons in aerodynamics, engines, navigation, airport operations, and flight preparation. While flight is not required, campers will have the opportunity to voluntarily schedule and pay for the discovery flights with local flight schools during designated free time*.

Campers do not need any prior flight experience. Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the thrill of aviation. Your instructor is James Royals, a commercial airline pilot who flies the 737 out of LAX. James spent 12 years as a naval aviator flying the E-2 Hawkeye.

Ages: 13-17 year old boys and girls
